Converting Fractions to Decimals - Tutorial 1
To convert a fraction into a decimal, simply divide the top number by the bottom number.
E.g.
½ => 1 ÷ 2 = 0.5
¼ => 1 ÷ 4 = 0.25
¾ => 3 ÷ 4 = 0.75
| HINT To remember how to convert fractions into decimals, imagine that a fraction looks like a divide symbol.
