Negative Numbers - Tutorial 2

This tutorial looks at using negative numbers with temperatures.

Thermometer

 The thermometer opposite shows the temperature in degrees C (ºC).

The scale goes up in 10s. The small lines in between the numbers represents -15º, -5º, 5º, 15º, 25º, 35º, etc.

The thermometer is currently reading -5º.

Below are some more thermometers. Look at them and make sure that you understand how to read the scale.
