Training
Training focuses upon putting a theme into practice while developing strategies to support emotional development of all participants in the learning environment. This requires the active participation of staff in their own emotional development through experience in some of the activities that they could use in the classroom. A whole school staff meeting is the preferred environment for an introduction or theme training. The meeting is intended to model subsequent meetings/training events that the school can repeat or develop later. Schools are encouraged to share dialogue with other schools and to participate in network opportunities.
