This course builds on the
content covered in the
Introduction to
Dreamweaver and Fireworks course and combines the use of Dreamweaver,
Fireworks
and Contribute. Contribute is an easy to use program which provides a simple way to edit and create web pages within existing websites - the user simply browses to the page that needs updating, edits it, clicks 'publish,' and it's done. Users can be allocated only certain pages and templates they can view/use, which effectively allows more users to contribute to the site, ensuring that it is kept up to date. Participants will have the opportunity to use Dreamweaver and Fireworks to create a site based on page templates, then see how Contribute can be used to edit existing pages or create new pages based on templates.
