Course Title: Using ICT to support Literacy for NQT's

The aim of this course is to provide teachers new to Northumberland with knowledge of the range of resources that are available in our schools.

During the course of the day participants will become familiar with the exciting, extensive and interactive Literacy resources that are on Knowledge Box and the Shoofly materials which cover all year groups from Foundation to Yr 6. In the afternoon there will be time to experiment making interactive Literacy games with Black Cat Literacy Activity Builder and to try out the new resources recently purchased from 2Simple which are relevant for a wide range of Literacy genres.

By the end of the day the teachers attending will leave with a bank of information and skills to use ICT effectively to deliver the Literacy curriculum.
