Course Title:  Making the most of Northumberland Digital Resources to support Teaching and Learning

Curriculum / Subject Area: ICT/Cross curricular
School Phase: All (but may be of particular relevance for First, Middle and Special)
The purpose of these three sessions is to provide colleagues with an overview of the vast array of new resources that have been purchased and are about to be distributed to all schools in Northumberland. The sessions have been split into three in order to provide enough time for colleagues to have the opportunity to try out the resources and assimilate their potential across all curriculum areas.

Session 1
2 Simple Literacy/ICT resources with emphasis on;
Stories 2Tell, Talking Stories, Literacy Collection, 2Create a Story, 2Animate, and 2Publish+

Session 2
2 Simple Mathematics/ICT resources with emphasis on;
Infant Video ToolKit, Maths City1, Maths Games 1, 2Investigate, 2Draw,2 Connect

Session 3
Additional resources freely available to schools with emphasis on;
Comic Life, Plopp, Shoofly -Twisted Tales, Big Bus, Beep, Beep Beep and our own in house 'Worship in Northumberland'.

Colleagues are welcome to attend all three sessions or to select the most relevant for their own particular needs. Please apply for each session as a separate course using the online application form
