Course Title: Using ICT to support Science for NQT's

This course will provide teachers with a bank of information, skills and resources to use ICT effectively to teach the Science curriculum.

The course will include the following areas:

• Making best use of the digital microscope

• Datalogging using LogIT

• Exploring County licensed software: Knowledge Box and the series of nine Channel 4 CDs

• Using and creating Smart Notebook activities for the whiteboard

• Using Black Cat Science Activity Builder to make resources

• Web resources to support the teaching of Science

Participants will receive a CD of resources to take away from the course.
