This course will introduce Northumberland’s e-learning Strategy supporting the use of ICT across the curriculum. Through the e-learning strategy, schools have access to the Northumberland Teaching and Learning Environment (NorTLE). Course participants will be provided with an overview of the potential this learning platform offers.

The Northumberland Digital Resources have enabled the provision of a range of software and content for some subject areas. There will be time to raise awareness of this element of the e-learning strategy and consider how it may support approaches to Teaching and Learning.

The session will conclude with a discussion about opportunities for Research and Development involving collaborative creation of resources and sharing of ideas using new and emerging technologies.
