(work in progress)

In addition to working at Blyth Community College the project is working with year 8 pupils in four Blyth middle schools. The purpose of these projects was to give the pupils a chance to develop basic skills in the creative use of digital technology as a foundation for work in the high school.

In each school the pupils were all given the opportunity to use digital cameras and work with image processing software but there was also an experimental element to the work.

Four artists were asked to work in the schools to explore how digital photography and video could be used in their medium.

Three projects are currently in progress and a fourth at Tynedale Middle School will begin in September.

The gallery shows a record of some of the work undertaken so far
