as this was the final year for this group of students at bebside school it was decided to try to create a sound scape of the school

they used mini disk and tape cassettes to record sounds around the school

they also took photographs of places in the school which had a special significance for them

at each location they took a picture of a person (without showing their face), a picture of what that person might be seeing and close ups of the objects around them

some groups worked with phil to create sound 'pictures' and others combined their images into slideshows using illuminatus software

the final piece of work will be edited together as a panoramic video projection
