You
now need to make sure that all your work is organized.
You will
need to have created a folder which contains
a Black and
White portrait image which has had its Contrast and Brightness adjusted
a coloured
portrait image which has had its Colour Balance altered
one image
each from the Colour, Texture, Form and Silhouette folders to which filters
have been applied
any other
images you have made so far.
1. In Photoshop,
create a new file, Width 640 pixels, Height 480 pixels. Give it a name
with capital F as the last letter e.g. Chris_F.PSD. This will be the name
for your finished piece of work.
2. Use as
many of the techniques which you have learned so far to create a photomontage
self portrait. The image should be made up from at least three separate
layers.
3. UNTIL
YOU ARE SURE THAT YOU HAVE COMPLETELY FINISHED WITH THIS IMAGE, KEEP IT
AS A .PSD FILE WHEN YOU SAVE IT.
This will keep all the layers in the image and enable you to go back and
change them.
4 When you are
entirely happy with this image you will need to use Layers>Flatten
Image to compress all the layers. Use Save As to save the file to your
finished work folder as a .JPG file.
REMEMBER TO ADD
F TO THE END OF THE NAME TO IDENTIFY IT AS THE FINAL PIECE OF WORK
5. Delete any files
which you will no longer need.
