Thank you to all who attended our sixth Northumberland ICT and e-learning Conference and made it such a success. We continue to be impressed by the feedback which you give us in your evaluation forms, filled in at the end of a long day. We've read every one of them carefully and include here a selection of comments and photographs of the day. If you missed the conference, there is a possibility of some aspects of it being repeated in the Autumn term - watch this space!     The most successful aspects of the conference were... E-safety - key to protecting children and staff Meeting other colleagues. New ways of using existing software Enjoyed the range of  seminars - all presented well and relaxing, which is important Collingwood animation - pupils were brilliant! Finding out about Virtual Worlds and the 2DIY software Podcasting information Potential of Forensic software A springboard for lots of ideas Recent research - thought provoking Time to look at resources and think about them which I don't have time to do in school Lots of choice - plenty to see. Loads of ideas to feed back to staff at school The day was enjoyable and focused on relevant resources and insights. All seminars were delivered with enthusiasm  - inspired me to be positive about ICT!   Richard's intro: Thought provoking...very motivational... put it all into context...provided great stimulus for discussion...inspiring and challenging... fantastic - set scene and linked to last year.
Changes to suggest:
A 2 day course so I could attend more seminars Shorter breaks and one more seminar instead Less seminars, but more chance to do some hands on trying of software Be more specific about the sessions to help make informed choice of which to attend Possibly having Co-ordinators sharing their products - a mini BETT! A room to lie down in after the fantastic lunch - many thanks!
