Group 1 – Printing and Transferring of Designs

  • Setting print quality
  • Loading transfer paper
  • Loading design and printing.
     

Group 2 - Cutting out fabric
 

  • Pinning pattern onto straight grain of fabric and being economical
  • Correct use of fabric shears

 
   

Reversal of groups

Transferring designs onto fabric

 

 

Pupils made sure the pattern  was transferred accurately onto their fabric.
   

Week 6

·        Seaming of outer bag and lining

·        Forming of casing

 
 

Having practised straight stitching, pupils worked confidently at the sewing machine.

Evaluation of finished products
