What our tapestry is about :
Our tapestry was about food in a global perspective.  This included the foods people eat, how it is made/grown and the social element of eating.  We tried to pick eight contrasting countries and focused on their traditional food types.
We tried to use a variety of techniques including sewing, knitting, yarn wrapping, weaving and painting

How we made our tapestry :
Every child in the school sewed something onto the tapestry and all were involved in the design.  It took approximately three months to complete and we were helped greatly by experienced and willing parents.  Our tapestry has our school logo as the centre piece for all to see where it has come from.
