What our tapestry is about :
'The location of the school--Holywell.  This involved pictures of Holywell, the nearby St Mary's Lighthouse and some bird and animal life.

How we made our Tapestry:
Parents came into support each class.  Every class took it in turn to complete their particular piece of tapestry.  The younger children used basic stitching to tack on material and older children used a quilting effect and more challenging stitching.  They also made individual birds / animals to tack on.

It took 6 weeks to complete and provided a 'window' to the features that make Holywell.  Lots of discussion and very worthwhile.  We would love the have kept it!
