What our tapestry is about :
Healthy Eating / play / local area were the themes of our tapestry.  Children decided to use the local beach with wind turbines to represent the local area, children playing and having a picnic.

How we made our Tapestry:
All the children in Key Stage 2 designed paintings showing what they wanted.  These were collated and main aspects incorporated into the tapestry.  Initially children worked in groups for two afternoons a week.  Near completion groups were working every afternoon.  Work was supervised by teachers, a volunteer helper and a governor.
