How we made our Tapestry:
All the children in years Reception , 1 and 2 drew their ideas on paper after the staff had explained the concept of the 'Millennium Tapestry' to them. Two members of staff were responsible for selecting suitable ideas from the children's sketches and choosing suitable techniques in which to work. As many children as possible from these three year groups were involved in the completed tapestry. The children usually worked in small groups during Art and Design and technology lessons
