Course Title: Simple animation with digital video cameras

Course overview

Curriculum / Subject Area: ICT / All subjects  
School Phase: First, Middle, High, Special
 
This course will look at how the Digital Blue video camera can be used for simple animation work in the classroom
The Digital Blue cameras cost around £85 and come complete with software and docking station to link to the computer. Connection is through the USB port.
 
This is a non technical course. The cameras are very simple to operate and the day will include:
 
Programme
  1. 1.A basic introduction to video and the Digital Blue camera.
     
  2. 2.An opportunity to practise using the camera for basic video work and image capture.
     
  3. 3.Familiarisation with the Editing software.
     
  4. 4.Using the camera for simple stop frame animation.
