Using Dazzle and Pages to make a Christmas Card

Now that you are an expert at designing stamps in Dazzle and using them to create patterns, you might like to use your designs to make your own Christmas cards.

The program Pages has a template for a card which is easy to use...

Step 1
Open the Pages program.
Click on the palette on the toolbar.

 

Click on the palette to add a picture

 

Step 2
Make sure the drive shown is C. 
Use the slider to go down the list of folders on your hard drive until you find 'Pages'.

Double click on 'Pages' to open the folder.
You will see a list of 7 folders within Pages.
Double click on setc.

Double click on Set C

Click on the down arrow in the box labelled 'List files of type:' and select All from the list of file types which appears.

Select 'All' from the list of file types

 

Step 5
Use the slider to go down the list of files in Set C.  Double click on the very last one - xcard.pat

Click on 'xcard.pat'

Step 6
This will open the Christmas card template with instructions on each of the 4 panels. Click on the page where you want to start writing. Type your message. If you want to change the font or colour, double click on the text to select it, then click on the red E on the top menu bar. The Text effect window will appear.

 

Click on E to change the font and colour
