Ensemble Members:
	Trevor Snowdon B.Phil. LTCL Co-presenter, woodwind specialist, pianist and administrator. Trevor is Head of Northumberland Music Service.  As a freelance performer he worked with companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and English National Ballet.
	John Verney B.Phil. LTCL, ALCM Presenter, string demonstrator, pianist. John is Advisory Teacher for Curriculum Support, Early Years and our resident expert on Music Key Stages 1 & 2.
	Dave Hignett Brass specialist.  Dave is the County Orchestra's Co-ordinator and senior brass teacher for Northumberland.  As leader of the Youth Jazz Orchestra, Northern Region winners of the Daily Telegraph Young Jazz Orchestras competition, Dave has been at the forefront of raising standards with regard to jazz performance in the North East.
	Geoff Hutchinson Percussion specialist. Geoff is the County Orchestra's manager and senior percussion teacher for Northumberland. Having recorded with various professional big bands and jazz ensembles, he now sets the standard for percussion teaching in the North East.  His drum set solos have to be heard.
	Rob Horsley GRSM LRAM Brass specialist. Rob must have felt that playing alongside companions in the Royal Philharmonic, the Royal Shakespeare and the National Theatre was not taxing enough, so he moved on to become the Head of Music at the University of Northumbria until 1995.
	Martin Campbell BA Guitar specialist.  Martin is a lecturer in guitar studies, teaches for Northumberland Music Service and can be seen regularly in the North East. Being a guitarist, he is the only one of the group allowed to have long hair.
	Jacky Craig BA LTCL Cello specialist and string co-ordinator for Northumberland Music Service.  The introduction of the electric cello has added a new dimension to what was otherwise an all male group.
