Northumberland Learning Landscapes (NLL) is the Local Authority approach promoting access to                         quality learning experiences for children and young people in the outdoor environment.

Northumberland Local Authority believes in life long outdoor learning, stimulated by the rich and varied landscape of the county and has made a commitment through it's entitlement statement. Learning outdoors has long been considered good practice in the early years and is now nationally recognised both in the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and the Government's ‘Learning outside the Classroom’ Manifesto.
