Welcome
to Eglingham Church of England First School!
In
1998 our school was selected as one of the first 75 Beacon Schools in the country.
We aim to provide a programme of support to local and other partner schools,
and in addition, we work with Northumberland LEA to deliver a range of INSET.
A range of documentation is available, and we can tailor visits to suit your
particular interests - please contact us if you are interested in finding out
more about our work.
We
are a small rural school with only two classes, situated in a beautiful part
of north Northumberland.
The school was built in 1868 to accommodate 120 pupils, but now caters for up
to 50 children from a wide area.
There are two full-time teachers, including the headteacher, and several part-time
support staff.
