The Department for Education and Employment's website includes sections for employers and job seekers, as well as adult learners and HE students. 'TeacherNet' is the DfEE's gateway to online services and information for teachers. The Young Person's Gateway provides access to information and advice about exams, qualifications and careers.
Schoolsnet's 'Educate the Children' website is divided into two main sections: Teacher Zone and Parents Zone. For teachers there are lessons plans, worksheets and educational articles. The Parents' Zone provides information about the educational system and how they can become involved.

The site includes a teacher resource exchange, learning resource index, discussion groups and a software database. The VTC viewer allows users to search the site for information and materials on any chosen topic for any age group or phase.
This links to the website of Camelsdale First school in West Sussex. It contains a bank of resources maintained by Veronica Carter, the Foundation stage coordinator. It contains teacher produced resources, mainly in Powerpoint, which can be used for whole class teaching - particularly if you have a projector.
