Keynote: Lee Parkinson: 

Practical ways to use ICT to raise standards across the curriculum. 

 

Seminar 1

Lee Parkinson will be providing a session where he will outline his three step approach to improving writing through technology. He will demonstrate a range of ideas to support this approach and show an example of work created in the classroom.

Seminar 2

Jordan Graham, Head of computing in a middle school in Northumberland, CAS master teacher, CEOP ambassador, Google educator & Raspberry pi cert educator, will be delivering a session along with Julie Newton, from Tweedmouth West First School, where she is involved in the planning and teaching of computing across the school. In this session they will look at teaching Computing from Early Years to Key Stage 3.

Seminar 3

In Seminar 3 we have invited a number of teachers from schools across Northumberland to talk about how they are successfully using ICT within their schools. Discussion will range from Ozobots, HP Stream books, Frog Progress, Treasure Island writing challenge linked to the National Theatre video & practical approaches to e-safety.

Delegates will have the opportunity to attend all three seminars during the day.
