Words of War is a fantastic resource developed by Shoofly Publishing especially for Northumberland schools.
It focuses on a soldier in the Northumberland Fusiliers and through 6 letters home, tracks his journey from conscription, training and being sent abroad, through to being wounded and Armistice.
